New Trend in DLC? Every profile on the same console has to buy?

I recently wanted to get back into Destiny after taking a break. I had to buy the game for Xbox One (since I was playing it before on 360). I had to buy the DLC for Taken King and Rise of Iron.

Guess What? If you didn't know, these DLC DO NOT WORK for anyone on the console except for the profile that purchased it. Do you know what that means? Since I gave my son the $$ to buy I can't play, but also his brother cant play either. This is a real thing.
I spent a while talking with Xbox Support just to find out it was like this by design (thanks Bungie). BTW, I will not be buying 2 more licenses or anything else from Bungie. All of that is beside the point.

My real reason for this novel of a post is to ask Microsoft to provide a warning of some kind when this is the case. I didn't even know this was a thing, and I do not want to find out after the fact again. Maybe they could set a flag that I could not allow
such content to be downloaded to my machine? Or a big bright banner that says "EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO PLAY THIS MUST PURCHASE IT... EVEN FOR USE ON THE SAME MACHINE" Because who would even think that would be something?

In addition, maybe stop buying DLC? Because they cant do that with a disc.

Account is bugged

Hello,

Since today every xbox one game one my profile has 0 gamerscore the 360 games are normal. It also deosn’t update new games to my profile or the right order of games which i play to my profile. Other accounts on the same console are NOT bugged.

What can I do to fix my bugged profile ?

I love couch co-op and thought I'd get Battle born for me and my son to play. We were excited to get the season pass, only to find out exactly this - that because he didn't have it on his account, we couldn't utilize it. That was the worst, and I would
have have dropped the $20 on it if I'd known that I had to buy it for both accounts. It's a 2 player game - you'd think the DLC would allow both folks to play together, and not need 2 accounts to buy the DLC.

The trend is to cut content and act like it's new DLC. Not every company does it but it's very widespread now for sure.

In addition, DLC and content you buy on the same console while be assigned to the console, and the account that bought it, so if playing on another account, the console license will allow you to play with the new bought DLC on the offline profile to an online
one
