Some more footage of a player swinging from rope to rope with the grapple hook. I hope the rope is in the map editor so people can make some tribute maps of Rainbow six Vegas 1 maps or movie theme like Cliff hanger. Or even Indianna Jones or Spider man.

What's the player count for the lobbies? Someone there on youtube blog said 5vs5. I sure hope not. I'm liking the game modes for sure though. If its true about 5vs5. Large maps will be boring fast even with vehicles. Hoping outpost we're allowed to have
more then three capture points. 4 or 5 be nice for midsize maps. 6 or 7 for large maps and vehicles. Three capture points is tiny maps. Far Cry 3 was 7vs7. Hopes its not dropped down to 5vs5 for animals and vehicle to be compromised into the game.

 

It is 5vs5. I might not get this now. Wouldn't be worth my time to make tribute maps of old glorious games like Socom or BFBC2 when its only 5vs5. Huge step back from Far Cry 2. Also they didn't mention if its dedicated lobbies. So most likely stays
the same as Far Cry 3 peer to peer match making lobby. Yikes! This is almost as bad as Gears of war 4vs4. lol Yuck. I'm not expecting BF4 64 player lobbies. But man can even muster up 8vs8?

 

Farcry is one of my favorite franchises so I'll get it regardless. And, I'm sure the SP alone will be worth the price of admission for me. Everything else is a bonus.

 

Game isn't worth $60. Besides they have day 1 dlc. So you know they held that big foot dlc back to get another $25. Scam! Also 5vs5 is the nail in the coffin for me. Large maps be lame 5vs5. Just think if your buddies peeled off in last vehicle and
your stuck on foot in a big 512x512 large map.

Probably a easy rage quit to another lobby or sell back to Game Stop and recoup some of that $60. I know i'm not buying it now. Story mode isn't worth $60. Better off to wait and get that for $5 months down the road.

 

I'll let you know how great it is once I've put a dozen or more hours into it. ;-)

 

5vs5 multiplayer is a complete turn off. I only like Far Cry franchise for the map editor. But going from Far Cry 2 8vs8 to 5vs5 is lame. Far Cry 3 was 7vs7 and tons complained. Wasn't the worst. But Far Cry 3 sucked cause no dedicated servers and no
server browser and no vehicles could be published in the maps. Was complete false advertisement.

 

I've been a huge fan of the franchise since it's inception, beginning with the PC demo of the original Far Cry. FC3 was great as well. I even enjoyed the PvP, despite it's imperfections. FC4 will offer "drop in and drop out" co-op which sounds great too.
The SP alone will have 25+ hours of gameplay, maybe more since I tend to do every little thing available in games like this. Far Cry makes me randy, baby, yeah! It shags me rotten!
