New To Xbox

Hey All I'm new to xbox I just got an Xbox One almost a week ago and its my first Xbox system ever!!! But I have been enjoying the hellfire out of it lol. I currently have Halo: MCC, Ryse, and Forza Horizon 2 and my goodness were all 3 of those worth every
penny I have to admit I have been missing out. My only gripe so far is the Install times of the games I imagine I'm doing something wrong but Ryse took about 2 and a half hours to install is there anyway to speed that up. Feel free to add me as a friend I'm
a 24 year old no BS gamer

:)

Original xbox's will no longer connect to LIVE so you will need a 360..
1) Can I attach any external USB hard-disk and increase the memory for game saves , media library and downloads ?
You can configure up to 16GB of a USB-attached device for use with the 360 as trusted, writable storage
for game saves and Marketplace content. The rest would be usable to store your own videos for playback on the 360.

If you're interested in storing a lot of content from the Marketplace, it's best to pick up a 250GB or 320GB 360 S accessory drive. It fits inside the console behind a trap door on the bottom/right of the console. It's also best to install games to that
HDD before playing.

An iPod Classic or an iPod Touch?

The iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad do not work with the 360.
Depending on how good the signal is, it's entirely possible for buffering to be taking place, especially if the router is being used with other devices.

5. welcome to xbox dude! Oh and about the install thing...exactly what MysticDarklight said..... you can disconnect from the internet by going to your settings, selecting network and then by selecting go offline, this will speed up your install and once its
installed go back online and download the game updates. Sounds silly but it works.

If it's true that MS is focusing on making the next box more TV friendly; it seems they are looking for a new consumer base perhaps females between the ages 13 & 50. Seem rather odd to me, anyways; at 500 bills if the PS4 is the same price looks like an
easy decision for people who just want have fun playing video games.

Your post makes absolutely no sense at all. So you are generalizing that only females between the ages of 13 and 50 like tv. I can not even tell you how wrong you are. Worst part of all is that you do not even post facts to back up your statement. Please
stop posting nonsense on these forums.

the majority of people are always online anyway when connected to Xbox Live ... as long as it doesn't mean you need an online connection to play then i don't see any difference between now and then. BUT ... if i have to connect to Xbox Live to even play
a game, then I won't be a happy camper. and i'm sure a lot of others won't be either.
