New to Xbox - queries on console set up?

I have a new Xbox 1s - am new to xbox. have installed forza horizon - can you play 2/3 players, eg. can siblings race against each other? / can you play 3 players if you have three controllers?

Also, got a code for fifa17 - installed it, but it appears to be linked to username rather than the console - and now the kids can't play it unless logged in under my username. Does this sound right, or am I installing incorrectly?

Seems very restrictive, or do I just not know how to use it correctly?

Any help appreciated.

Shit here apparently is cheap, i personally sold my 360 to a guy at work with a wired controller, halo 4, and gears for 100.

Yup. On the new units most of the heat is fan forced thru the big vents on top. Putting your Sky box on top esentially blocks it. I wouldn't put it under it either.

I bought a S unit about a year and a half ago. I have never heard a clicking noise, but the heat that comes out the top is really warm, but the rest of the console feels ok though.

 

Forza Horizon is a single player game. You can play online with others, but not local multiplayer.

Anything you download is tied to the account that purchased it. In order for others to share your content, you need to set the console as your Home console.

 

Adding to Smwutches post. In order to set this console as your home console so everyone can play your games while not signed into your account...

Settings app > Personalisation > My home Xbox > Make this my home Xbox

Then your all done

 

thanks for your help. Is it right that I have to insert the game disc each time? I thought that was the idea of downloading it, so you don't have to put it in each time?

 

You have to put the disc in each time so the system can verify that you actually have the game. Otherwise people would just borrow copies, download them and play without actually purchasing them.
