I had the same problem with my xbox. My issue is fixed now. I was getting error code E101 00000504 8B050041 while updating my xbox offline. The error came because I was trying to flash the same os which was already there on my xbox. MS just released a new update yesterday. You just need to download the OSU1 file again and flash it.

So it means that if I want to reinstall system OSU1 from the same update, but quite freshly, I cannot?
I did try other port once and it didn't work Maybe should try again?

A day passed since the person removed Insider for Xbox through PC, and still I have insider on Xbox. Nothing changed. Do you know how long it would take for me to come back to official branch of updates?

Yeah, in case that doesn't work

Via official repair they're going to be able to restore the system for you (there are some special tools for these cases on the Xbox systems, but only Microsoft or official third party stores has access to it)

I got to know that previous owner left Xbox Insider. Does it mean then that my Xbox will be deleted from Insider? Or something messed up? Quitting Insider Account means deleting Xbox console from it? What then I'll have to do to come back to regular updates?

Yeah, error E101 is not very descriptive

But if you search videos or posts related to error E106, in some cases the error points to a failure in the internal hard drive (that can be fixed replacing it)

Thanks, and what E101 again would mean? It also appeared.

With E106 it appeared that 6% in Offline Recovery and then Error occured.
