    New to xbox one but have a file corrupted pop up


    so I have been playing NBA 2k17 now for awhile offline because it's a pain to get internet here well I now all of a sudden have files corrupted will not allow me to do anything with the game. Do I need Internet to fix this problem new company just moved
    in and it's getting installed next week

    Corrupt File on the Cloud

    I have a save file that corrupted. I play this game on 3 different Xboxes, and sync via the cloud. The cloud save was corrupted, but one of the 3 xboxes have yet to download the new file from the cloud. Is there any way I can replace the existing cloud file
    with the uncorrupt (but older) file? Currently, the "good" xbox won't let me do anything with the uncorrupt file because it says it's "Pending upload"

    Any ideas? I would hate to lose this file. Thanks.

    I am thinking that somehow your save file is corrupted. Try moving that file to a USB memory stick if you can. Pop the game in and see if you can start a new game. If it works, the problem is with the save file.

    Freezing Issues: All progress deleted

    Just further information, for those of you that are overwriting the so called damaged save file, your game will never save if you keep overwriting. You have to delete the old file completely and start a new one to save.

    Defeats the purpose really. Its like waiting for a time bomb to go off. sooner or later the bug will reappear and your save will be corrupted again, and yet starting over again. not sure if I'm willing to invest the time...again...just to have a random corruption
    pop up.

    Corrupt profile, now corrupted console data

    So i formatted the console, but now when i start up the xbox, it says that i have corrupt or missing data. It runs an update and a pop apears to restart. Same message appears and it restarts the update again. It seems to be a never ending cycle. It looks
    like not all the system files are there. Used to be about 4 files and now only one?

    If you're playing with a disc (say the old xbox one version) then it could be the disc is damaged. If it's happening on only one world it could be a corrupt save file. Respectively you'd have to get a new disc or delete the corrupted save file. If it's
    not either of those issues, maybe try reinstalling the game?
