New to Xbox Live(Help!?)

Hello!

Currently I kinda need help for setting up Xbox Live(2 Console at least)

I had 3 Xbox 360 just for LAN play but the game(2 copies of Earth Defense Force 2025) I currently bought doesn't have LAN Play/System Link(My mistake/ LAN Party's mistake)

Hmmm heres some questions

1. How do I set Xbox Live for two console in the same house w/o playing for two people

2. How much is that currently I only need a 3 months(summer) subscription.

3. When I started Live it automatically cancel my sub in 3 months right? It doesn't automatically charge me for extension?

4. Can I make 3 accounts like a share type which can download all my previously bought games in Xbox store?

New to xbox Live help?

Ive just joined xbox live and ive got a few questions.

1. How safe is my account really on here in terms of getting hacked ingame (been reading thru the forums and it seems to be a big problem with online games)

2. Is there anyway to add extra layers of protection on my account?

3. Is it safer to use paypal or just by a card from a local retailer store?

4. If i do somehow get hacked in any hack unwilling, will i get into trouble and lose all my DLC on my profile. (Thinking about getting the Call of duty Elite today when i get MW3)

Sorry for all the noobie questions, i just wanta be safe before i start using xbox live. Just switched from PSN and heard xbox live is a better service.

I believe as long as you don't get on bogus web sites and give out your information, you won't get "hacked".

 

1. Your subscription is tied to your Microsoft account. So to your gamertag.

2. Depends on where you live. Check your nearest electronics store for a 3 month card.

3. Answered in #2. Buy a prepaid card if you don't want to have automatic renewal.

4. Sharing? Can be done on a family plan. Although, if you have already bought items and then create a family, I don't think it'll transfer over. Either way, everything you buy will be available to everyone on the first console you download it to.

 

So how do you setup shared Xbox Live in 2 console?

If I am understanding correctly, what you want to do is have 2 different people signed into 2 different 360 consoles with both players connected to Live so that they can play online together.

My understanding is that this is not possible with a single Xbox Live Gold subscription. 2 people can share a single Gold account but only 1 person would be able to go online at a time.

Ok ty man buying 2 gold account for 3 months is kinda expensive for me

3 Months = $24

and for 2 its almost $50 that's like a year of gold man

I guess i'll just try co-op split screen
