New to Xbox, how do I do this? How do I pick games? 1 or 2 people? No internet?

I'm new to Xbox S totally. Have found out I need to download games. How do you get the second controller to work and how can you tell if the game will play two players without using the internet? I told the salesman I have no plans on using the online function.
He said nothing about the games I bought, which are Minecraft, Rocket League, UFC2, Just Dance 2018, and a game came with the system which is Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels. We did not get a disc for the Hot Wheels, how do we get the game? How do we get these
games to go into the multiplayer position? I see on the back of the games they mark whether they are multiplayer or Xbox Live (online), they all say multiplayer except the Hot Wheels, that doesn't say anything. The Just Dance says Kinect Multiplayer (we do
not have the Kinect but may get one if we can find one). Are we able to play the Just Dance without the Kinect? Help please.

How do I make a Pick Axe...

1. get wood

2.then press X and make wooden planks

3.with the wooden planks you have to make a work bench

4.once you placed your workbench click on it, a window will pop up, select the tool you want and press A.

5.make sure you got all the items you need to create the tool.

How do i?

Lol at the first video. 2 level 55s with Ghost against a lobby where the highest on the enemy team is a level 8? What's so good about this? Can someone tell me? It's like me uploading a video of me beating my 6 year old brother in a 1v1 and me going 100/3
while he went 3/104. No skill whatsoever. The second video is more about luck and drop shotting to get the drop (no pun intended) on the enemy.

 

first off most of the game you list are single player games and have online coop. Then your forza horizon game is a digital copy which you will need to download .from the online store. When you go to the store section you should see redeem code and that
where you want to enter your 25 digital for Forza

 

I do believe that you need an internet connection for initial set up of the console itself.

Even if you have the game disc, after inserting the disc the console will download the game and install it on the HDD, so again an internet connection is required.

As for the games you have listed, the multi-player parts of the games are all on-line for which you need an internet connection and Xbox Live Gold.

And for Just Dance 2018 you either need a Kinect (plus adapter to connect it to your console) or you can use a smartphone with the Just Dance app installed on it.
