New to XBOX Fam...Just bought the XBox SeriesS/X Shock Blue for Windows 10 ... doesn't work :(

I am new to the XBOX Family and need to learn a lot on how to get around. I wanted to enjoy the full gaming experience so I got the XBOX Series S/X Shock Blue for Windows 10. I paired it well but none of the buttons on it worked at all. I reached out to
the help center and saw that there were some issues. Question, I saw that this model wasn't compatible with windows10. Is this true? Please see below what I read in the message center. I hope this isn't true as I would like to be able to use this controller.
Although they gave instructions on on how to update your system, that didn't work for me. The guide didn't even open at all. I hope they work the kinks out ASAP. I don't want to be stuck with a controller that I can't use. Has anyone else bought this and
had any success?

(Known Issue: Console streaming to a Windows 10 device from an Xbox Series X|S will not work through the Xbox Console Companion app.Workaround:
This feature is only supported through an Xbox One generation device. You can currently stream from an Xbox Series X|S console to an Android or iOS device via the Xbox app. Keep an eye on News.Xbox.com for any updates on further support for additional

New Xbox Wireless Controllers on Windows 10

Known Issue: Some users are experiencing no button input in games with New Xbox Wireless Controllers (the controller packaged with the Xbox Series X|S) when connected via Bluetooth to Windows 10.

Workaround: If you are experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest servicing update on Windows. You can find available windows update by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows
10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.

Once that is complete you will also need to make sure the controller firmware is up to date by checking for additional updates within the Xbox Accessories app.

To check your update history, you can go to Start menu > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history.
