    New to xbox, controller question


    Hi

    I just received a new xbox one s blue edition. I find the XYAB buttons to be very dark. Not being used to their position, I keep looking hard to see which one is which.

    Dummy question, is there any lighting for these buttons?

    Turtle Beach

    Hi all. Just purchased the Turtle Beach 30x cheap Headset for my Xbox one not realising that it needs a new Xbox controller (didn't realise there was a new controller) to plug directly into.

    In the Turtle Beach instructions it says to purchase the Ear Force Headset Audio Controller so I can plug the head set into that then that into the controller.

    My question at last is, will the official headset adapter for Xbox work with the Turtle Beach instead of their Audio Controller.

    Great question!

    The original Xbox controller featured analog buttons. The XBox 360 controller switched to digital buttons. I haven't seen the specs for the new XBox One controller, but it's probably safe to assume that the buttons will also be digital.

    Hi

    There is no lighting for the buttons on the controller but I think there is little coloured dots next to the buttons to help with quickly identifying then, Please be patient you will soon get used to the button locations on the controller.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Is the controller an Xbox 360 controller. The Xbox one controllers will not work on an Xbox 360. Also, is the controller old, brand new?

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on controllers. Not sure if the controllers from the new Xbox will work on current ones. However, the controllers for Xbox one generation will work on the new Series S/X.
