I am pretty sure there is a "Dad's" group for TitanFall as well. I remember seeing a mention of it on the Official TitanFall forums. You could also check on the TitanFall subreddit too.

I watched your Titanfall Game DVR clip BTW. Here's a couple of tips, which you may or may not know: -

When you shoot at a titan with an anti-titan weapon, sometimes a critical part of the titan is exposed (the red bits). Try and shoot the titan in that area and you'll do a lot more damage.

Drop your titan in when it's ready instead of carrying on playing as a pilot, particularly when the other team have titan advantage. You can see how many titans each team currently has on the map in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Use wall runs. There were times when you were running along the ground alongside walls. If you jump against a wall and run along it, your speed will increase considerably. In time, you can string together wall runs, double jumps and bunny hops and you can
get around the map way faster than someone that's running on the ground, plus it makes you a harder target to hit.

Be wary of being executed when your titan is doomed. Your titan got doomed and you started shooting grunts, even though there was an enemy titan right next to you. If that other guy wasn't a gen 1 player that was new to the game he would have dashed up to
you and executed you.

Im still getting used to wallrunning, double jumping, and all that stuff - i get killed a LOT trying to wallrun and just standing on the wall.

im not sure i understand about the exocution, when your doomed they can exocute you?

Thanks for the tips helps me, im a Halo player, so this is a little different for me, but im getting it. hopefully you can help me out, i need the headset adapter for my Earforce X12, but i didnt order in time, so i have to wait for restock and stuff, so
i dont have mic, but we can still play and have some fun.

 

If you're in your titan and you punch an enemy titan when it's doomed, you'll rip the pilot out of the doomed titan and throw/squash him, which kills him. Doing that also destroys the titan, so sometimes it's worth punching a doomed auto-titan to quickly
finish it off, even though there's no pilot inside.

You can also crush a titan by calling in your own titan so that it lands on the enemy titan's head, which will kill both the titan and the pilot inside instantly. It's not that easy to do as if you try and drop a titan directly over an enemy titan they will
hear a warning that says "Warning. Hostile titanfall detected" and get out of the way, but it's very satisfying when you do it, lol.

Here's some more titan tips: -

Every time you get in your titan it will refill all of your pilot ammo.

If an enemy pilot rodeos you and dooms you so you end up having to eject, the enemy pilot will fly up into the air as well. If you jump right after you eject, if you look down you'll see the enemy pilot in front/below you and you can shoot him in the air
and kill him. You can do it without jumping, but if you don't jump there's a chance he might shoot you in the air instead.

If you have nuclear eject equipped, if you fall off the edge of the map or get punched off by an enemy titan, if you nuke eject your pilot will fly really high in the air so you can land back on the map.

You can throw a couple of arc mines on your own titan's back before you get in it, so if an enemy pilot rodeos you, the mines will explode and kill him, although it will damage your own titan too.

If you use the cluster missile, if an enemy pilot rodeos you, run up to a nearby wall and fire your cluster missile at it, turn your back to it, and the explosions from the cluster missile will kill the pilot. This will cause heavy damage to your titan too,
but it can be worth doing in some situations.

If you use electric smoke and a pilot rodeos you, if you put your back to a wall and look up as far as you can, then immediately pop the smoke, the pilot won't be able to jump off your back and escape, so the smoke will kill them.

The best weapon for rodeoing titans is the LMG, particularly with the Slammer attachment. It's worth creating a loadout with the LMG to switch to if the other team have titan advantage and you need to try and take a titan or two out quickly. The LMG with
the Slammer can doom any titan without you having to reload, so it really rips through the titan's health. It's a good loadout to use if you play Last Titan Standing.

The Charge Rifle is the only anti-titan weapon you can use when rodeoing an enemy titan. It's a good rodeo weapon if you have an amped one, as the rate of fire is increased considerably. If you try and use any other anti-titan weapons when rodeoing you'll
just kill yourself.

And no worries about the headset man. We can still play without voice chat.

2 more quick tips that beginners often don't know: -

You can hold X to get out of your titan at any time, so if you want to hop out to activate a turret or return a flag or whatever, you can, then you can just hop back in. I see some players ejecting from their titan and blowing it up just because they want
to get out and place a turret in Frontier Defense, lol - you don't have to do that.

You can eject whenever you like. Press up on the D-pad and then mash the X button. This can be useful if you use nuclear eject, particularly in Frontier Defense, as if you destroy 3 or more titans at once, the countdown timer to call in your next titan instantly
drops to zero, so as you're nuke ejecting out of one titan, you can drop in the next one.
