New to the Horizon games

Since we got Horizon 2 as part of this month's Games with Gold, I fired it up for the first time last night. I've never played any in the series before and man, is it fun!! I really can't wait for the new one, would it be worth grabbing the third one as
well?

Is the Hot Wheels add-on expansion for the Forza Horizon 3 going to work on the up coming new game (Forza Horizon 4) ???

Only way now is to start a new Horizon game save. Hopefully you have not gone far in the game.

 

Yes, it is worth getting the 3rd Horizon, in fact I would say it's even better than the 2nd one.

 

Forza Horizon 3 is great, definitely worth grabbing!

 

Same thing happened to me ! I've never been a fan of racing games until I played Forza motorsport 5 and horizon 2, now I'm so excited for Horizon 4. I believe the third one is worth getting as well, it mostly has excellent reviews.

Other than Mario Kart, Burnout, and Hot Pursuit I've never been a huge racing game fan. However, the Forza Horizon games are pretty solid games.

 

I haven't played it yet but picked it up with the GwG too. Excited to check it out now!

 

Make sure you get any DLC you might want now. End of life is next month for that game.

 

In my opnion I'd maybe give FH3 a miss, like most sequels it's just more of the same and I suspect you'll soon get that feeling of Deja Vu.

FH4 does look like it might be worth a punt but for me it's going to be a game I'll hang for until it's on sale. There are other games released soon that I have pre ordered so cost comes into it for me at least.

 

I think that you'll be better-off served by waiting until Horizon 4 but if your pocketbook allows for it why not get 3 as well!

 

I am not really into racing games but the hype is so big around Forza I think I will give them a try,

 

Forza is great because you have 2 different types to choose from. Regular Forza tends to bore me because I get tired of the regular tracks. But Horizon has so much to keep you entertained.

 

I'm playing through FH2 now after having played FH3 first. They're both awesome games, though I do think FH3 has a lot of little improvements as well as a few big ones (e.g. the world map, the overall feel of driving, the way the progression through the
game is structured). The Hot Wheels DLC for FH3 is also incredible (the Blizzard Mountain DLC is also pretty great). With FH4 coming around the corner, that might complicate your immediate decision-making process a little, but FH3 is absolutely worth getting
at some point!
