The Evil Within

Bethesda has officially announced The Evil Within, the first game from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami’s studio Tango Gameworks. The Evil Within is a survival horror title due to arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and next-generation consoles
in 2014.

“We’re incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within,” said Mikami. “My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action.”

Looks good. It's coming out for the PC too.

It has a good ol' "Hostel" feeling to it.

 

That trailer was pretty dope!!

It's like Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark wrapped into one, but it actually looks good.

I've had this pre ordered for a while now. I'm pretty pumped for it. My pre order list at work is very long.

 

Looks awesome. Definitely on my list of grabs! That's for sure!

 

Very close to (what was) Silent Hill,seems great....And bloody.

 

Finally got the stupid video to work!

...and I was NOT disappointed.

 

I take Biz's point that it has a hostel feel to it. I got to say I am pretty excited about this one. I just hope its not one of those games that disappoints because I could sure use a really good horror game right now that's fresh and not a sequel to another
game. This was recommended to me by a few over in the game discussion section. So on that basis, I have high hopes because a lot of them seem to know their stuff.

 

Does look good, i hope its like resident evil 1, where you have to solve a lot of puzzles to progress and not just be a FPS type.
