new system update??

wondering if anybody else got prompted to update xbox one when they turned it on today, ive literally just got back home with destiny and update came up sure it was 228mb download and i have no clue what its for as ive already downloaded all the past updates.
anyone help

New Messaging System

Because you don't need to play mp to send just a simple message, it dosen't make any sense why they restrict sending messages via the website but you could do it on console with no problems.

I finally got the Friends tab on the dashboard!

 

I asked Xbox Support about this up on Twitter, the reply I got is that it was just a "Performance Upgrade" .. whatever that means?

Probably getting ready for all the Destiny players today I suspect.

 

The 1410 update is out now for preview program members.

 

Does Anyone Know how I can get into the Xbox One Preview programme?

but be warned... you will encounter bugs and problems.. as you will be a tester for the new updates..and sometimes things do not work.... do the right thing and notify MS through there feedback app...
