New system update gets stuck at 66%

Discus and support New system update gets stuck at 66% in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I went to install the new update this morning and it got stuck.     New system update gets stuck at 66%


    I went to install the new update this morning and it got stuck. Tried doing offline update and it also got stuck at 66%. What's next, factory restore? I don't want to lose my saves.

    This is ridiculous. My XBOX One was stuck on 66% while applying the online update for hours. I decided to shut it off and cross my fingers. No luck. I got stuck on the loading screen. I have now tried a offline USB update and it is again stuck at 66%. Having
    to do a factory reset is not a solution Microsoft. Please don't ignore this issue Microsoft.

    If you're having trouble with updating your Xbox One please make sure you run through all the steps on

    this page     for updating Offline. If you're still having trouble you may need to perform a factory restore as you mentioned. Definitely keep us n the loop with how it goes though!

    same here. Xbox was stuck a 66% for HOURS! i tried the hard reset and updating offline via USB and the Xbox is stuck again at 66% again updating with a USB stick!

    same here the summer update went to 66% with online update and stopped. Shut the system down and was left with the green screen. Did the steps for offline update and again it got stuck on 66%. I've had all xbox systems and have been a loyal xbox user,
    but this Xbox one is crap and Microsoft company is even more crap. PS4 here I come.

    Xbox One S console update stuck at (Step 3 of 3: Applying) (66%)/ 86%

    Its been stuck like this for nearly 24 hours and still no progress and i done a hard restart and I turned it off and unplugged it for a couple of hours and it keeps on getting stuck at 66%/86%. I NEED HELP PLS.
