    New storage settings options - 2022-08-12 beta update


    Where can we find more information on the new storage configuration options that seem to have popped up with today's beta update?

    It prompted me to configure my external storage to either be used with multiple consoles or just the one they were attached to.

    How does selecting the "multiple console" option change how games are installed/updated/etc?

    Please follow the steps to repair or update the Microsoft Store on your Xbox:

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Go to "Profile & System" (the person icon) on the left side of the guide.
    3. Select "Settings" (gear icon).
    4. In the Settings menu, navigate to "System."
    5. Under System, choose "Storage."
    6. On the Storage page, select "Manage storage."
    7. Select "System storage."
    8. Look for and select "Games and apps."
    9. Find and select "Microsoft Store" in the list of installed apps.
    10. Choose "Options."
    11. From the menu that appears, select "Repair" or "Update"
    12. Confirm the Repair or Update when prompted.
