New software is virtually unusable

the new main screen software is glitchy to say the least has no ability to maintain an online status apps constantly crash while opening and the main screen itself also freezes on a more then acceptable basis it also now takes quite a while to load when
powered on the old software was not only more aesthetically pleasing but infinitely more reliable in all phases I've learned that you cannot downgrade to previous software so am looking for a fix for the now existing software

Xbox One Virtually Unusable

I have an Xbox One Console, 500 Gb, around 2-3 yrs old. In the last several months it has become increasingly difficult to use as it hangs on several menus etc. However, in the last couple of days it's actually become completely unusable. We tried offline
updates to no avail and yesterday had to reset the entire device. We could not log into the system, it would crash or hang every time we booted then it would give a startup error every time we rebooted so we reset it. Now it won't download games - stuck at
1% and not moving, stopping the install. Sometimes I can log in, sometimes it hangs up. Network setting are good but the system is basically unusable at this point.

Help. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Kinect keeps turning on and off

Same problem here since December. Making all Kinect games unusable. Thinking it's a software problem.

 

Are you saying you keep disconnecting from xbox live ?

 

When the main menu loads up it constantly says connect to Xbox live so the store and other online viewable content is never accessible and when I connect it doesn't change anything
