    New series S and my status is not correct!


    Posting on here hoping I can get more info, I recently got the Series S and i’ve had some issues. I don’t get any notifications for when my friends get online (which I did the day I got the xbox) and then whenever i’m watching youtube or netflix my status says i’m at the “home” screen which is super annoying. If y’all have any answers let me know please!

    Can you first try performing a full power cycle to fix this status nad notifications glitch?

    Full Power Cycle

    Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    Once the lights on the front of the console, unplug the power cable from the rear of the console.

    Wait at least 1 minute

    Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

    Correct. So anything that will only work on a Series S/X will not work on that console.
