    New Series controller disconnect and reconnects on x-box one.


    Got myself a new Series wireless controller before getting the series x console. I really like it. I still have the day one edition of my x1 console (its all banged up)

    When i play assassins creed Valhalla the games becomes unplayable. The controller disconnects and reconnects contently. On some other games its playable it only does it if you stop playing for 30sec.

    Hope they find a fix. I dont want to go back to my day one controller.

    I am having the same issue with the new Series X Controller (2020) on my 2013 Xbox One. On Doom Eternal, if I'm at the pause menu or a cutscene (controller idle), about every 30 seconds I get the message, "Please reconnect the controller", which flashes for about 1 second but is enough to ruin the game. During gameplay, the controller works fine for hours. Also, I had a strange YouTube bug where none of the buttons worked and the controller just locked up, I couldn't even turn it off with the X button.
    I have posted this to the MS forums, but they seem unaware of this with new controllers on old consoles.

    Nothing works fine until the headset disconnects. Then the controller also disconnects and then I have to reconnect by pressing the button on the x box

    I am sorry your facing an issue with the Series X.
    Can you confirm whether it is the controller not connecting to the Series X or the Series X not connecting to the TV?
    Hi jemi thanks for replying sorry for the delay in answering the controller x box series x worked for some time it disconnected a few times then it started to disconnect often practically every time I used it it was not used with the pc and it is unacceptable that things like this happen to me in 2022 it has already happened to me with the x box one 2 times sent for assistance with the x series it no longer works even with the original cable I think you should try to solve the problem once for all maybe redesigning new controllers but this time with a new technology I would be willing to buy it even out of warranty thanks to you soon

    Microsoft Elite Controller 2 disconnects from XBOX One X intermittently

    This did not work, I also noticed that if I shut off the XBOX One X it disconnects this controller and I have to reconnect it on startup. This does not happen with my other controllers just the Elite series 2 one.. I'll request a replacement
