New SaskTel Fusion Wireless Internet Problems

Honestly, trying to configure this piece of junk Huawei is 10 times harder then my old D-link. Everything is so unorganized and you have to go into different folders blah blah blah. Anyways, I have searched for the WAN interface page, but there is no such
page. This is the only thing i could come up with

1 Enabled LTE Auto APN IPv4 Only Enabled

2 Disabled LTE2 Auto APN IPv4 Only Enabled

For WAN information, this is the first two on both my ip address from the router information and from the dyndns website. 10.32.xxx.xxx

By hard reset i mean unplug the router for 2 minutes, then plug it back in and fire it up.

 

I just read in another thread to set it to energy savings mode, and clear the alternate mac address, i did that and still a strict NAT type.

Can you visit, What Is My IP? Shows your real IP - IPv4 - IPv6 - WhatIsMyIP.com® and look below
your IP, and let me know what it says about any Proxy detection.

It does not mention anything about proxy detection, it just says,

Ok! Does your router's WAN IP address (WAN interface edit) still shows 10.32.xxx.xxx?

- IP Address: 0.0.0.0

 

Found some more information, MTU is 1500, and NAT Enable is checkmarked, i could try and uncheck the NAT enable?

 

Could you try to restore your Huawei back to factory defaults.

Locate the reset button on the back panel of your device. Press and hold for 5 seconds until the Power led begins to blink and then release.

Access the Huawei's web-utility interface and configure wireless settings, like SSID, Security type, passphrase or password for your wireless network. Don't use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup).

Make sure UPnP is turned off.

Make sure you have your Xbox 360 unplugged from your network during these steps.

Go into your Xbox One's network settings and find out the MAC address for your Connection type (wired, wireless) and write it down.

Turn off your Xbox.

Access your Huawei and go to Network Setting > Home Networking > Static DHCP. Select Add new static lease.

Type in your console's MAC address in the MAC address field and type an IP address that is currently not in use.

When your done, go to your console's network settings and make sure it has the same IP address that you've typed under
add new static lease, and turn off your console.

Access your router and use Port Forwarding to forwarding the following network ports:

• Port 88 (UDP)
• Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 500 (UDP)
• Port 3544 (UDP)
• Port 4500 (UDP)

I think you should ask your ISP what they refer to as "static external ip address". To what device/interface is this address static towards?

 

Exactly the settings i had before and its still Strict NAT, when i do multiplayer test, it still shows behind a port symmetric NAT. Didn't get me anywhere.

 

I'm on the call waiting list for my ISP, going to be a 35 minute wait...

 

finally got through, they said that the person who told me they will put on a static ip address never did. because i dont have one. i have to wait till monday now.
