What Country/State/Province do you live in? Canada/Saskatchewan

Modem brand & model number: Huawei LTE CPE B2268H

Router brand & model number: Huawei LTE CPE B2268H

How many 360 and One consoles are connected to this router?: One Xbox 360 and one Xbox One, Not at the same time.

Wired or wireless (for each console): Both wireless

Things you have tried: Calling Sasktel and trying to figure it out, their option is for me to pay an extra $5 a month for a static external ip address. I have opened ports and setting the xbox one ip address manually. Connecting my
Dlink router and nothing works.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes it is enabled.

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? NAT Type: Strict, Detailed NAT information says, "Your network is behind a port-symmetric NAT"

Any Error Codes you encounter: ? Unable to finish multiplayer tests (0x7fc3)

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider):Sasktel

I have done everything i could try, opening ports, resetting, restarting, redoing, and there's nothing i can find. The xbox can connect to the internet source and watch netflix, but i cannot play any games, and when i go to the detailed network statistics
it shows download speed 4.29, and then upload speed is blank, no numbers there at all. Packet loss 0%, and then MTU is blank with nothing there as well.

I'm at a loss at what to do, we just got this new internet on Tuesday, after not having internet for a month almost.

:)

pleaaaaasssse help with this problem

Connection is either wireless or wired. Wired connection problems means that your internet is just slow. Wireless may mean that you need a better wireless router- solution could be to get a new one or to move your xbox console to a room closer to router.
Or again internet is just slow. I had similar problems 2 years ago, but it was the Internet providers fault, I switched providers and haven't had a problems since.

3. Xbox 1 disconnects/ Xbox 2 doesnt

I have Sasktel <-(ISP) Ultra DSL (the most $$$! one) and two Xbox's (slims) and a laptop.

I've lived in this house for two years and NEVER had a problem.

About a month ago my one xbox started disconnecting every 10 to 15 minutes, while the other xbox stays connected just fine. My laptop has always been wireless and also NEVER has connection problems. The xbox that disconnects is wireless, while
the one that doesn't disconnect is hardwired. Now I've tried hard wiring my other xbox, but it tells me that there is no hardwired internet, it just takes me straight to wireless, all while my ethernet cord is plugged in. I thought it was a problem with my
Internet service provider, so i upgraded my internet and router. Still having the same problem. HELLLLP!!!!!

Do i seriously have to bridge two routers?! New SaskTel Fusion Wireless Internet Problems :(

This indeed may be a problem with your LTE connection. If you have the option to get a fixed IP like you described I'd urgently recommend to use this option. Unfortunately I don't think you have any other option as you may be on a shared IP at the moment,
where you have no control of the needed ports at all.

5. I want to try and find an alternative option instead of an extra $5 a month for a service i should have already but my ISP is wanting to bend me over further to get more money out of me.

If you are on a LTE connection this usually is an extra option, not included in the normal package as most LTE connections are "surf only" and not meant to be able to play online with. So there is no portforwarding or UPnp possible which is mandatory for
online gaming.

Sri, but unfortunately there is no other solution for you.

You may please do a multiplayer test and when you get to the result screen please hold LT, LB, RT and RB simultaneously to start the detailed connection test. You may then wait until the detailed NAT status is displayed and post the result here. This may
give us a hint on this.
So i got the Static I.P. Address, i can play games now, but i still have a Strict NAT Type. How does one change this?
Is your "public" static IP address actually a private address, NAT'd within the logical realm of your ISP?

Can you access the web-uitlity interface of your Huawei gateway and see if you can find the WAN/Internet IP address, which is the address assigned by your ISP.

Take a note of the WAN/Internet IP address and go to
http://checkip.dyndns.com/

Now, can you tell us if the 'Current Address' match the WAN/Internet IP address that you see on your Huawei. A simple Yes, or No will do.

Thanks!

10. When i do a multiplayer test, it is still "Unable to finish multiplayer tests"

Detailed network statistics

Download Speed 2.02mbps

Upload Speed BLANK

Packet Loss 0%

MTU BLANK

Latency 94ms

Wireless Strength 79%

Detailed NAT information "Your network is behind a port-symmetric NAT"

Status Code 0x105004000200804F

The current address from checkip.dyndns.com is the same as the one listed on my Huawei information.

So YES, it is the same.

What NAT behavior do you see if you run the diagnostic test on your Xbox 360 (Test Xbox Live Connection)?

Can you describe how the B2268H are currently configured, regarding Port Forwarding, DMZ, or UPnP.

Can you also tell us the MTU value that should be presented in the B2268H's web-utility interface. I'm not referring to the MTU value that your console picks up (or not).

May I ask, after you received a public IP address, did you Power cycle the B2268H?

Thanks!

12. Xbox 360 doesn't mention anything about NAT type when i test the xbox live connection. I looked it up and people say that usually means it is "open"

Ports i opened 88, 3074, 53, 80, 500, 3544, 4500, all in their respectable protocol(TCU/UDP), i have put my Xbox One's IP into the DMZ, I have tried UPnP in both enabled and disabled.

MAX NAT Sessions Per Host: 2048, i have no idea what you mean by MTU value, you gotta dumb it down for me here.

After i got my public IP Address i freaked out and did about 50 resets trying to change whatever i could to get it to be open NAT type.

New SaskTel Fusion Wireless Internet Problems

Thanks!

First of all; Don't use UPnP, Port Forwarding and DMZ mixed together. These three features shuould be set to operate one at a time, and if you connect more than one Xbox to your router, I would recommend using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). Port Forwarding
and DMZ can only prioritize rules for network ports used by Xbox Live to one host machine (Xbox) on your private network.

If your Xbox 360 doesn't complain about MTU, then your safe. New SaskTel Fusion Wireless Internet Problems :)

May I ask, is your D-Link router still connected to your Huawei gateway, and your Xbox One in return, connected to the D-Link, or is the D-Link removed from this equation?

I would also recommend that you ask your ISP if they use a method to perform translation between IPv4 and IPv6, or IPv4-in-IPv6 encapsulation for their customers, and if so, are you affected by this mechanism.

The Xbox One, at its current state, should have as less overload as possible, from different transition methods (as mentioned above), therefore, make sure your router don't have any IPv6 features enabled.

Post back and let us know what you find out.

Have a great weekend! New SaskTel Fusion Wireless Internet Problems :)

14. I will take off the DMZ and upnp features and do a hard reset and see what that does for me. D-Link was removed, not applicable to my situation right now. I have checked my router and i see nothing about IPv6 features, only two IPv4, and they are both enabled.

Just did a hard reset and it still shows my NAT type is strict in network test, and when i do a multiplayer test, it fails, "unable to finish multiplayer tests", and it still says Your Network is behind a port symmetric NAT.

Just to clarify, can you go to the WAN interface edit page of your router and make sure
IPv4/IPv6 Mode is set to IPv4 Only.

Where you previous found your WAN IP address, go back to system info screen and post up the first two octets of the
IP address under WAN Information. For example
192.168
.xxx.xxx
I will take off the DMZ and upnp features and do a hard reset
When you say "hard reset", did you restore your Huawei back to factory defaults?
