I think there formula was working perfectly fine till gta5 came out lol I never seen rockstar remake a game. And as much as I love SA, I can agree that it's obvious that all they did was make it brighter. It's also the same version that's for the phone.
They probably thought no one would notice.

gta5 in the one shows promise, it actually LOOKS worth something, but it going to be the same story, no gym, no cop cars, etc etc etc.i think I'll just rent it and play it at my job, because I'm not getting jacked by rock star.

I suppose a good tip for them would be, if they really want to sell there crap cards, and they don't want to give us what us, the players, are asking for, then they should really consider allowing us to buy all apartments and houses. That gives people
who play this game all day with over 30 million dollars a reason to have money like that. And yea eventually some people will buy everything but that gives them more stuff to manage instead of being so limited.

 

R*'s single player is pretty darn good and I don't think they need to touch that formula, but lets face it R* has absolutely no clue how to do Mp.

 

As crazy as this sounds Zone, the reason I blame rockstar is because they didn't fix multiplayer like they were supposed (at first ) but they did tweek things here & there which is a major improvement.

but Zone rockstar won't take the tip. they only care about one thing as all gamming companies do ?

They wanted to create a MP cash cow like WOW or UO that have no single player action.

 

Like I said before not ALL games need MP, but rockstar wanted the "us too" aspect. Sadly pretty soon every single game will have MP. And this my friends is how some of us get tired of genre.

 

Now I see some things here that I disagree with. and I think for the first time, I agree with buick. the defenders of this game will always say no one is forcing you to get cash cards, but one who is not blind can see what rockstar it trying to do. a lot
of people that I play the game with, or hear on the public lobbies are not really able to save money in this game. the ammo alone can be pricy. for a long time, I myself was stuck at 13 million and wasn't going no higher because I kept buying ammo before a
mission started.

As far as the multiplayer for R* in general, I disagree with anyone who says rockstar makes a bad multiplayer experience. I agree that the single player mode in there games tend to be better than the multiplayer most of the time, but to say that rockstar
doesn't know how to make a good multiplayer game is not right. for me, it does get boring quickly now days because I do not like the fact that missions have to take forever now to make a good buck, as good as the game could have been, you have to admit when
you play it, you have some kind of fun.

I agree. otherwise we would be able to put whatever we wanted in a playlist, have the replay option to a successful mission, not have to worry about a timed based missions to get a better payout, not have to deal with overpriced things in the game etc etc

Yeah gta online is fun, but I wish they'd do away with those shark cards.

 

I can't label it a good Mp when the first 3 months were some of the worst I have ever seen. Msybe BF4, but then again I didnt lose 2 months and millions to a BF4 bug like I did GTAV

Back on topic, lots of people say that this was a poor excuse for a port and looks like its the android version.

 

I think it is to be honest. I bought it for 7 bucks when a few months ago when I gave up on gta5. it looks the same, same features in the menus, nothing special. no wonder it was 3 bucks and some change when they released it lol

 

@Foregotten1, if you are talking about GTA: O's initial launch, I disagree with you and sympathize with R* on this one because it was obvious that got a much greater turnout of players joining their servers than they expected. I see this as a good thing,
and even though I'm upset with the company on a couple of personal reasons and public ones, I still appreciate R* above the rest of the gaming companies out there and just think they decided to focus more on the cash card/MMO portion of GTA MP this time. There
wasn't much wrong with the formula that was GTA: IV MP. It was nice and simple and had a Friendly mode and the ability to customize the lobbies. Why R* went with the RDR lobby method is beyond me. Then again, in RDR, I was shot at by cops on horses with Winchesters;
not SWAT teams or helicopter snipers!
