@gg they can say they look at every single report as much as they like there's more than enough evidence to the contrary on the net.

He'll I can even show you examples of people who should of been banned and weren't like a guy who got a suspension for his gamer tag yet had a modded 900k gs and a profile that would have been extremely obvious to a person yet served his suspension and carried
on playing.

Either they get complacent and just hit an ok button or they don't look at them all .

 

Jambo, many reports take time, some longer than others. The enforcement TEAM is exactly that - a team; they're not an army. When you think of how many XBL members there are online at any given time and how many reports are made daily, of course you're not
going to get instantaneous results.

Regarding your example, the offender in question was likely ONLY reported for his gamertag, but not for his other offenses. If he had been reported more than once, once for each offense, then he likely would've been banned. The enforcement team isn't going
to waste time looking at someone's entire profile and gaming career after a single report - they're just going to focus on the report in question.

Also, just because you believe someone should be banned, that may not necessarily be what happens. An enforcement team may look at an offense and deem only a temporary suspension as being necessary. Also, in most cases when they do take action, they won't
notify you that it has occurred (although it does happen on occasion - I've even received a thank you from them once).

One thing I like regarding the new and vastly improved reporting system on the Xbox One is the ability to comment on the report. Not only can I report someone for a specific infraction (such as an inappropriate gamertag, message, video, in-game content,
etc.), but I can leave specific details regarding it - for example, I can say "his gamertag references the use of a certain sexual, plastic, and phallic-shaped object" so there's no misinterpretation on the part of the enforcement team.

To be honest with you guys, if I could qualify to be a member of the Xbox Live enforcement team, I would take the job in a heartbeat.

The point I'm trying to get across is that your reputation can't take a hit from players reporting you out of spite. The system is built in a way to prevent that kind of thing...

So basically with this new system, you're saying that there is absolutely no way the being really good in a game will negative affect your reputation from players who don't like losing / losing bad.

I hope that you don't mind if a ask you this, but when someone gets a huge wave of unwarranted negative feedback; does it get reviewed first before it shows on a players reputation or does it go to the players reputation first and then gets reviewed (where
it gets reversed when its confirmed that there is no substance to the negative feedback).

Please keep in mind that I'm a 95% solo gamer and 5% multiplayer gamer (Cooperative Modes only, I hate PvP Modes), so I have no idea how this system works.

Reviewed first, Lei Fang. If you watch the videos I linked to above, they mention how they look at it, make the decision, and THEN execute that decision after. It's the way the system is set up. They even have certain degrees of severity that's color-coded.

I am having the same problem... There is an arbitrary flaw in the review that allows *** loosers to negatively review you. I am in a similar situation, I am active duty, and only chat in the party with my brothers from high school who are also serving in
different parts of the country. And I never send messages and usually only reply to those asking for advice. With that, I play almost solely Battlefield 4 and I fly the Jets and am very proficient at it and can stop the whole other teams armor from moving
anywhere near the objective (Rush usually). I very frequently get little CoD converts that get *** and rage that it is incredibly hard to kill me and will send me messages and play as though they are obviously upset and only want to go for me, which is still
usually unsuccessful ( I was in top 40 for BF3 jets before I was active duty and had a lot of downtime from a motorcycle accident). I don't like coming off as arrogant but I am very skilled in the jets. But I just had my reputation drop again for what?! Being
naturally skilled at a game and being penalized by sore loosers? I'm sorry but that is bullcrap (yes I try to keep language clean online too...)

The whole player review needs to just be taken away as there is no way to give positive reviews and allows people who are upset at loosing because we have molded our generations to believe loosing is a sacred rule being broken and not having the sportsmanship
to take a loss to someone truly better. The only review should be for cheating which then after enough Xbox sends a agent to monitor game play and see if in fact that there is cheating going on... thank you!

That second message you received, Ronaldo, is an automated message that is sent to you when your reputation is affected. It may have no bearing on what had just recently happened. Your reputation only takes a hit based upon repeated actions that you've taken
over a long period of time (usually longer than a couple of weeks) that violate the Xbox Live Code of Conduct, not directly as a result of someone sending you a bad message. The timing of that 1st message and the 2nd is likely a coincidence. In any case, I'm
guessing you're not telling us the whole story - I'm willing to bet you probably said something to upset the other player either in game chat or in a message of your own to them.

My advice to you is to ALWAYS treat other people in a friendly and respectful manner so that they'll be less likely to retaliate against you (good sportsmanship is key) as well as keeping yourself in a good mood - it's a game, you're going to lose at some
point, so shrug it off and learn from the experience instead of getting angry or accusing other players (please keep in mind, I'm not saying that you actually do this, it's just cautionary advice and nothing more). If someone sends you an inappropriate, rude,
or derogatory message, don't be afraid to report it yourself or block the person who sent it.

I assure you, the system works.

its been 5 years I'm on xbox live , if this keeps up I sell the xbox one i go I go to Sony!! just for a system that could make me lose my reputation options is that in no way reflects the players I am .

I have to say that I find it interesting because I've received a lot of negative messages from other players and have never received a hit to my reputation. In addition, a lot of people who seem to be complaining about taking hits to their rep also seem
to play a lot of FIFA (which I don't). Is that a coincidence or is it possible that the hardcore fans of FIFA can't stand losing and attempt to abuse the system?
