If you're having problems with a beta game thats on the xbox insider hub, then you can report the issue there for the team to be notified.

You can also use the Xbox one Edition of the game, or the Play together version of the game. As the one you're playing on is a BETA, its expected to have problems.

Report a problem feature from the Xbox insider Hub app. It allows to you to report a new problem or select one from the list of known issues. It has a section to include screenshots or videos of the issue to assist with investigating the issue.

This will be the best course of action if the belief is that it's related to a system update. I also suggest trying a factory reset to your Xbox a few times in case it keeps downloading a corrupt system update.
