New Rep System...

Lofty, as pointed out yet again, some things are not "just opinions". There are logical truths and logical absolutes. An "opinion" does not have equal weight and everything despite repeated Ad Nauseam is not an "opinion".

 

Stop using CAPITALS unnecessarily!! The English language is a beautiful thing until its abused. You do not need to capitalise your favourite sayings of "ad hominem" and "logical fallacy" and now your doing it with "ad nauseam" and while I am at it do you
have to overuse these phrases every other post???

Its funny I work in a quasi-legal role and its always the people who don't understand legal points who use Latin phrases in order to bolster their lack of knowledge and make themselves appear really clever.

 

If I am playing COD , Lofty is a total camper , and kills me loads of times ..

I avoid him for what I consider " unsporting behaviour " , because I dont want to play with him anymore , would it effect his rep ?.

Lots of people also consider quickscoping as an auto aim glitch , and unsporting ..

Team killing and driving the wrong way are just examples , who knows what the masses are reporting as unsporting ? ..I don't.

No matter how you word it, to me it's just an opinion, nothing more nothing less.

So whether it's a case you don't want to reply to what I asked, don't know, don't have an opinion then fair enough, it honestly was from my part that I was just interested to know what people's thoughts are on it, how the system does/might/maybe does/can't
tell the difference.

Lost, what you are saying is your opinion based on information that was provided by Microsoft. Its your opinion and you own it.

Now it has recently been said that Microsoft is going to look in to fixing the rep system. If that doesn't prove to you that it is indeed broken in some way, when the owner of this rep system says they will change or fix it, then your head really is in the
sand. LOL

I just think lostkauz has to much time on his hands ... bit like myself lately lol ... and its obvs from the very first post he wanted an reaction from anyone that would post to back.

 

steve, isn't that the entire idea of Discussion? I can't imagine anyone wanting to take time out of their life to not move anyone. I'm pretty sure that's why humans share their thoughts and develope discussion.

I totally agree with Lost on that one.

It's a discussion! I sometimes think though, from my experience of using forums over the years that when you disagree with people some can take it a bit to personal for my liking which does baffle me a little. It's like you've insulted them some way.

I stress, I don't aim my comments at anyone here but I'm sure we have all seen it even on this forum over time.

I think discussions are good, whether you agree, have different views lets say. As long as people don't start being abusive ( which does happen on here from time to time ) then I'm all for them.

Anyway, I did say before that I'm out of this thread, really am this time, honest ;-p
