    "New" refurbished XBOX series X not working with Assassins Creed Shadows


    Hi There,

    I ordered (March 29, 2025) and received (April 1, 2025) a refurbished Series X a few days ago (through Microsoft) and purchased a disc copy of Assassins Creed Shadows (from Best Buy) and the game constantly crashes and sometimes the system crashes. I've reinstalled the game. Reset the XBOX a few times. I am unable to even get [ast the startup screen. The only reason I purchased the new system was for this game and maybe Starfield in the future. Not looking at any other games at this point. I'm extremely frustrated and unless we can get this working, I'm looking at requesting a full refund. I've had the XBOX, 360, ONE and have played all Assassin's Creeds Games and want to continue playing them.

    Please advise on next steps.
