Discus and support New [random] xbox downloads in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I've had my Xbox one for about a year now, and my friends used it every now and again but now they have their own and every time they download games...     New [random] xbox downloads


    So I've had my Xbox one for about a year now, and my friends used it every now and again but now they have their own and every time they download games and apps to their xbox one it pops up on mine, but I removed their live profiles a long time ago. My
    questions are 1) why does this happen and 2) is there any way I can stop their downloads from showing up on my xbox?

    If your friends have set your console as their Home console, you will automatically download anything they purchase. You would need to have them make sure their consoles are set as their Home consoles in order to stop their downloads from showing up on your

    Thanks for the reply. I have a stable network connection (both wired and wirless). The download starts out downloading fine but abduptly stops at a random precentage. I preformed a soft reset but it unforunately didnt have any effect on the downloads.
    My xbox also doesnt have any new updates.

    OP hasn't mentioned whether or not the Xbox was purchased new or pre-owned. If it's pre-owned, then it's likely the previous owner never bothered to do a reset and that Xbox One is still set to their "Home" Xbox.

    Would explain 'random' downloads of games and full access to them.

    No. You don't have to be signed into multiple consoles. You can't be signed into multiple consoles. Since his console would be set as your Home console, he can play whether you're signed in or not.
