New problems changing channels on my Mediasonic HW180STB.since April update?

NOW in the last day or so I have had a problem where my XBOX One will not control the channels on my Mediasonic HW180STB. It be duethe Xbox using the "enter" command. If I press enter on my mediasonic controller after entering the new channel number,
it will not change the channel but stay on the same channel. I don't know if that was always the case or not, I didn't use it's remote much as the xbox changed the channels. Now the same thing is happening with the xbox, it will input the new intended channel
number (you can see it on the screen) but then it clicks and stays on the same channel. Before I did notice it took some time for the channels to change so I think the xbox did not before use the "enter" command after it input the numbers. Anyone seeing
that problem?

Kinect used to work with homeworx hw180stb(new version) , doesn't now.

I just got the HW180STB and plugged everything in and Im having the same problem.

1) Searched for Mediasonic found it

2) Selected the HW180STB ( New Version )

One Guide Shows all channels for my area and when I select a channel it shows the correct channel being entered but then flashes the old channel and doesnt change.

Side Note - Where do you enter the IR Code if I was to try different ones ?

 

OTA SOLUTION REVEALED

I got it to work with my HW150PVR, sort of. I input it as mediasonic and typed in the HW150PVR. It will turn it on and off, but when I use voice to change channel it inputs 51 rather than 5-1. So I get an invalid channel message. Other than the channel number
issue, it has worked with my set top box and works my receiver for volume control with voice command.

 

The exact same problem is happening to me.

 

If you cover the IR sensor on the HW180STB the moment after the xbox sends the channel number (e.g. 5-1) then the xbox successfully will change the channel. The April update must have included that extra "enter" command which has now ruined the channel
changing function. You can still change the channel if you use the up and down arrows on the right side of the xbox remote since that is only a "Channel Up" or "Channel Down" function.

 

Yes. I got a response from Mediasonic and they say pushing OK will disrupt the channel change. This change makes the OneGuide pretty useless. Does anyone know how to report it to Microsoft? I am sure it is a change made to be useful for the new Xbox live
tuner support in the US.

 

Same problem. Been talking to Xbox Support. No solutions as of yet. Very annoying.

 

Was there ever any fix for this? I spoke with Xbox Support 2 weeks ago and they said it would take a few days to fix, but the issue persists.

 

The issue still persist. I have heard of no fix. I hope something comes in the May update.
