New Preview Update Synch Issues

I have two Xbox One consoles, both are enrolled in the Preview program. I received the update on both consoles and like the Cortana features much better than the old voice commands. One console works perfectly fine with no issues at all. The other is
a Quantum Break console, and every since I have installed the Preview Update on it, I have to do a hard reset every time I turn the console on in order to get it to sync with any controller. If I try to turn on the console from the controller alone, nothing
happens, I press the power button or use Cortana to turn on the console and no controller works or syncs with the console. In order to get controllers to work, I have to turn on the console with any method other than the controller, and then touch and hold
the power button on the console until it shuts down completely, and then power it back on from the console, and then the controllers will work. Any other method and no controller works or will synch with the console. I have reported this several times through
the preview app, but nobody has ever contacted me with any ideas. The other issue is that when I restart the console in this manner so that the controllers work, then Cortana doe snot work.. So it appears the issue lies there.

why hasnt MS responded? xbox has had synch issues since nov update

Having issues with the latest preview update, but cannot access preview forums. I only get Group cannot be found.

The newest update is just sitting at 75% of applying update.

My console has not got the update yet

 

Does your Xbox read game discs? Ever since the update, my Xbox insists on asking if I own a game or not whenever I put a game disc in. I clearly own the games and did not have this problem before the update. Can't play Fallout 4 or Destiny yet backwards
compatible CODBO1 works. Same thing with New Vegas. Xbox Support on Twiitter seems to know nothing so what should I do? Would a hard reset fix these issues?
