New preview update makes games unplayable

I have tried to play three different titles under the preview update for July- WatchDogs, Forza5, and Battlefield 4. None of them make it past their load screen and Forza won't even install properly (I just bought it). One other app that fails to work is
Twitch. It freezes after I hit 'Broadcast'. None of these games or apps had any trouble before installing the latest preview. Is there a way to roll-back to a stable version? I can't do anything fun on my Xbox One right now.

Good afternoon, everyone.



So, here is the problem I am running into: I got L.A. Noire and loaded it up. The game starts fine, and Xbox Live has a popup that says I need to download an update. I download it, system restarts. The screen goes black as the game starts to load....and
next thing I know, I am back on the dashboard with an error that my disc can not be read and to try cleaning it.



I check, verify the disc is pristine. Try to reload it to no avail. I toss a disc from a different game, and it will play.



I go in and clear out the cache, restart, and now L.A. Noire loads with no problem, but asking me to download that update for it again. I select "No" and can play the game fine, but I lose half the usefulness of the game because I can't use Xbox live.



This is a very reproducible problem for me.



Has anyone else out there run into this issue at all?

Chances are your update was corrupt. Try downloading it again.

 

I forget to mention that I experience frequent controller disconnects now as well... And the controller sync button doesn't work after installing the latest preview.

 

If you use the "instant on" mode on your One, have you tried a hard reset? Turn your console off via the console itself and hold your finger on the button for about 10 seconds until the console turns completely off and the light on the PSU turns orange,
then turn it back on.

 

Hi there please post this in the preview forums, by selecting the xbox early access tab at the top of the page. This way here the proper support can be given.

 

I'll repost in the proper forum. I thought this was the right one. I have tired to hard reset.

 

If you post in the forum the preview team can investigate the issue and get a fix. Have tried uninstalling and reinstall those games?
