new preview update is not letting me use my Seagate 2tb external hardrive with my xbox

This morning I go onto to my Xbox One to play Forza Horizon 3 to find it's not registering my external hard drive so I search up problems related with the drive and try all fixes then realize the drive is working perfectly fine then I go check the last reported
update on the console and find that It was done earlier this morning at about 2 am which I assume that update is what made my drive to not register onto my Xbox and try to load up the Preview Program app on my Xbox and the it which says my Xbox need to download
so it did and it did absolutely nothing please fix the new update so I can enjoy my Xbox

So just to be sure.

I can use any external hardrive with the Xbox One. As in if I went and got like a 2TB external hardrive I can use that for my digital game downloads.

 

Xbox ruined my external hardrive

I have a 2TB Seagate external hardrive, it was working well when all of a sudden my xbox updated and now my xbox wont recognise my Seagate!!! I’ve lost all my games because of Xbox’s basic crap storage will only allow me to have like 8 games downloaded now
I can’t play any of my games!! Im so mad right now!!
