new preview update (i dont have it, 1 friend does)

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE UPDATE?! Literally, you passed out the update to some users, meaning most likely people who recieve the invite will be the only one on their friends list. SO, lets look at the
[Mod Removed] issues here...

1) My friend who I play games with everyday, cant even play games or chat with me anymore. I literally now have to wait until the update comes out next month to even talk to him. We have to message eachother which is annoying. It doesnt matter who sends
a party invite or game invite, nothing works because the update is specifically designed to only work for those who have the update and anyone who doesnt have it, cannot chat or play games with someone who does. THAT IS SOOOO
[Mod Removed]! Why would you even do that?!

2) Anyone who has the update and doesnt have a single friend on their list with the update as well, is stuck playing games by themselves basically for the next few weeks or so. And they cannot delete the update. Im blown away with how smart and stupid microsoft
is at the same time. Im literally getting sick of this system that I almost want to return it.

Whats the point of 3 operating systems when the other 2 hardly work or TAKE FOREVER when your playing games or doing something. I literally cant not load anything else up 90% of the time when playing COD:Ghosts or other games. If they do load up (something
simple like my friends list which is the number one tool you use on a console) it takes literally over 15 seconds sometimes, way slower than the 360. This system is a joke.

You havent even gave us Dolby DIgital true surround sound for our astro headsets yet. HOW IN THE WORLD could you make a next gen system and NOT have a feature thats already being used on the older console. Are u serious?! Its been months now and no update.
Its taken you guys 4 months just to bring an adapter in which all you did was swap the wire for a 2.5mm jack LOL! 4 MONTHS TO SWAP THE WIRE FOR A JACK! GET IT TOGETHER AND FIX THESE RIDICULOUS PROBLEMS OR IM NEVER SUPPORTING XBOX AGAIN...IVE WASTED TOO MUCH
MONEY AND TIME INTO YOU COMPANY TO BE CRAPPED ON FOR THINGS THAT ARE SO SIMPLE!

i would like to join the x1 update preview team.. i have friends who get to beta test it.. how does that work?

Ya i swear people who want to be in the preview just for backwards compatibility dont read their aggreements

You are a tester of new features for a future update

Not the actual update itself

Things may go wrong

If they do they are included in the beta clause which i suggest you read it

Ps4 does not have a preview program where you can test these features ahead of time

Bbry has a preview program like betas or leaks lol

 

Your friend chose the beta update which specifically said what would happen. next, you can play games with them, just cant chat. In a few days you will be able to. There are allot of fixes coming out in the next few days, be patient.

 

I'm in the same boat. I just got the message on XBL not thinking that there must be some random things that will happen to cause me to have a terrible experience with the new update. Now I can't even party with the few people I play with. Oh well I guess....
