New Prepaid Code Invalid

Okay I bought a Prepaid code for The Witcher 2 from someone on Ebay, as well as Forza Horizon. The Horizon code worked perfectly fine but it keeps saying the Witcher 2 code is invalid. He sent me a picture of the scratched card and I've tried to enter it
like 20 times both on the website and Xbox but it always says it is invalid. I'm not sure what to do now, as the guy is obviously not a scammer and has lots of feedback on Ebay, and if he gave me a used code it would say it has already been used. I am not
sure what is going on with it, can anyone help thanks.

Hey there Nemesis! I understand that you received a 160 MSP code that does not work, is that correct? These promo emails were sent out independently of any other LIVE promos you may have taken part in and were just a free gift. I'd be more than happy to
take a look at the code and see what I can do to remedy the situation. For this, can you please PM me the code (little envelope icon below my post)?

As for your promo, I do see a 3+3 promo during this time, but it doesn't have any mention of points with it. It looks like the deal was simply for the extra 3 months. I'm sorry for any confusion this has caused. I look forward to your PM so we can get that

Prepaid Code Invalid

Hi, when i enter my code on the xbox or PC it tells me that the code is invalid, Ive used the online chat support but couldnt fix my issue (see log below)

Also
when i paid for the Xbox gold membership it said i would get 600 points free, not 160 which i find very misleading and abit of a con.

If i could get this issue fixed i would very much appreciate it.

some codes are region locked meaning a code from USA will not work on a UK account that would give you the invalid error as well as not entering code correctly (mistaking a 0 for a O and a 8 for a B etc), and finally the card may not have been activated
at time of purchase correctly. those are all contributing factors to getting the invalid error good luck.

 

However, if it does not work then you could always try to get a refund back from the seller.
