New Phase in Life of Xbox One?

With the release of Destiny, I think we are officially in the second phase of Xbox One's lifecycle. The top 5 most active games have been pretty consistent on Xbox One have been rather consistent since the release of Titanfall, with it being some sort
of combo of FIFA 14, Call of Duty, NBA 2K14, Forza, Battlefield, and Titanfall. (Yes, that's 6 games, but they all spent considerable time in the top 5 rotation.) Outside of a short stint there for Watch_Dogs, this has been really consistent and outside of
Titanfall that list is all launch games.

- Today though, the top 5 had NO launch games when I looked at it at two separate times. Destiny, Diablo III, Warframe, Madden 15, NHL 15, and, of course, Minecraft are dominating the space. Today was the first time I saw both Call of Duty AND FIFA 14 both
outside the top 10!

- To me, this represents a changing of the guard so to speak. Xbox One now has what I would consider a full library of games and we're outside of that phase where the machine is being held together by launch titles.

- Anyone else feel this way? How do we feel about the Xbox One library at this point?

Blocking / Banning Stalker. How to get rid of him for good?

Yes...i have a real life stalker now. He used to be in the "I'm a sweet, rational guy!" phase, then in the "I'm going to obsessively text, call and smother you" phase, then the "I'm going to end myself" phase, now it's the "I'm going to as dramatic and
irrational as possible" phase. It's awful.

 

So exactly what will be the point to having an xbox one if all major exclusives are on pc?..

i go through phases when a game comes out on pc that i have to have on there (fallout 4 half life 3) then my xbox will be redundant for a while and to get back on topic on of the reasons i built this new pc is to cross play with my girlfriend on xbox and
yes it would have been cheaper to get another xbox but girlfriend prefers pc gaming

 

It's going to get better. Minecraft released Friday just gone and all my friends who have an Xbox 1 were on it. Same with Destiny although I'm not interested in Destiny so don't have a copy.

More games to come include Forza Horizon 2, Halo MCC, Project Spark Full Version in October, Halo 5 late next year, even Happy Wars from 360 will be coming to 1.

Xbox 1 hasn't been out for 10 months until 22 September. Not to mention Dashboard Updates for Xbox 1 has pretty much come out on a monthly bases since Launch. Forza 5 and Zoo Tycoon were available ON 22 November last year. Sure it's not as huge as Xbox 360's
library list, but Xbox 1 is not even 12 months old yet.

 

Where is this rotating Top 5 list from?

 

Still no games that interestm me beside forza

 

Since E3 2013,i think Xbox one (this is one of many reasons i bought it) got a strong line up.Even without 3rd party....Forza,Halo,Killer Instinct,Gears of war,Fable,Project Spark,Crackdown,....

And it got good exclusives (or time) ,Dead rising 3,Ryse,Sunset overdrive,Rise of the Tomb Raider,Titanfall....

Destiny and Minecraft aren't games that i'm looking after and i don't think it represent a second phase in Xbox one lifecycle (cross gen/multiplatform game)

Xbox 360 really start to shine with games like Halo 3,Mass Effect,Bioshock,Gears of war....(2-3 years after launch).

At least this time Microsoft didn't make me wait for enjoying playing good games ,since launch.

 

The top 5 list undoubtedly comes from the games store on the XB1.

 

I don't know if you would call it the next phase for Xbox One or not. I would call it "Autumn". Most of your major releases for games happen between September and December, probably to coincide with the holiday shopping season. And since the X1 (and PS4)
is so new, publishers that couldn't release the game in the launch window were shooting for this fall.

In fact, most of the exceptions to this (Watch Dogs, etc.) were initially slated for launch, but were delayed.
