all microsoft account have a generic xbox profile created with it, this is normal and you can change you gamertag to one that suits you better free for the first change.

the offer should pop up under xbox app as you are currently not subscribed it will advertise a sub on the main page of the app.

1. Select the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar, or in the search box on the taskbar, type Microsoft Store, and then select it from the results.

2. At the upper right in the Microsoft Store, select See more (the three dots), and then select My Library.
