New PC crashes when starting a game

Hello everyone
i just had my new PC built just yesterday with the below specs:
GPU: 3060 TI
CPU: i7 11th gen
Motherboard: Asus rog strix Z490-H
Monitor: Samsung G7 Odyssey
Power supply: cooler master 750 / bronze
CPU cooling: cooler master 240L V2
Ram: 2 / 8GB SSD: 500 GB

everything works fine and temperature is all good for all specs. but when i start a game for example Valorant, the game is fine when i am in the lobby. But the moment i get into a game the PC freezes then crashes and restart. i tried to remove my GPU and played the game using my CPU only and it worked just fine but for sure with lower resolution.
what can be the reason of this sudden crash when i try to open an app that requires GPU performance ?

The IA raises a good point on the benchmarking. If you have Steam, then 3DMark is a good one...just download the Demo (scroll down a bit and it's on the right)...it should stress the system enough:

Does this happen in every game? Have you checked for updates for Windows and your video card drivers or reinstalled the drivers?

And if you run a benchmark program that stresses your GPU, does the same thing happen?

it more like it happens in every application that requires an GPU load. like a wallpaper engine from steam, whenever i launch it and choose a moving wallpaper it crashes.

i have the latest windows update. but did not do the video card driver re-installation how can i do that.

yesterday i tried an application to check my GPU at full power called Ungine Heaven Benchmark. I tried it for like 20 minutes and everything was fine.

If the game works fine using the Integrated GPU, then it likely points to a fault with the 3060Ti...could be drivers so make sure you are running the latest NVIDIA driver (Version 472.12 released on the 20th):

Beyond that, make sure all the cables etc are connected fully. But, asides from that, it does sound as if the GPU needs replacing. Having said that, there is a small chance it's a fault on the motherboard.

Might be worth trying a game that's a low GPU demand to see what happens. It is always a possibility that it's an issue with the game itself.

yesterday i tested my GPU with an app called Ungine Heaven Benchmark for like 20 minutes. it worked fine and frames were up to 400 something with temperature averaging 58.

this app on Steam does what exactly ? you mentioned stressing the system, what would that show or suggest if i may ask ?

Ah, if you've already used Unigine, then you don't need to run 3DMark as they basically do the same thing and Unigine is actually a better one. I wouldn't use Unigine too often though as it has been known to break GPUs as it puts a lot of stress through the system.

Running Unigine successfully steers us away from the GPU (not saying it's not the GPU but unlikely). It could still simply be a game issue and maybe the GPU drivers aren't right for that game. If it happens in any game though, then it's an issue

In this situation, the next thing I'd check is the RAM as it can be a cause of crashing. Firstly, I would run MemTest overnight to test the RAM:

MemTest is good at fault finding so if it comes up with errors, then you need new RAM (if it doesn't come up with any errors, doesn't mean the RAM is fine though as faulty RAM doesn't always show up). If Memtest detected nothing, next I'd do is remove the RAM sticks and then reseat them to ensure they are fully secure. If you still have problems, try running with one stick of RAM at a time
