    I just got an Xbox 1 and was setting up my user account. I went to the store to redeem an Xbox gift card. It gave me an error about my account.

    "An unexpected error has occurred. The error has been recorded and Microsoft will work to fix the issue. Please try again later."

    "Prerequisite Profile Missing: iC4O2zD4VE6O7ix2.62.5"

    I redeemed a gift card for the US Xbox One store to buy Injustice: gods among us, although I
    don't live in the US. I managed to redeem the gift card, but each time I try to buy Injustice: gods
    among us, which a Xbox 360 backwards compatible game for the Xbox One, it returns me to my
    country's Xbox One Store. And when I buy an Xbox One game, I can't select the amount that I
    got from the gift card, even though it says so in my profile.
    How can I fix this ?

    Game Pass Gift Card ...nightmares

    If it is a game pass gift card when you redeemed it then it went to the account your were signed in with when you redeemed. Try removing your profile and then reload it.

    I bought giftcards But it has been already redeemed

    Hi there.

    Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done by Microsoft in terms of redeemed gift cards. You will need to take the gift cards back to the retailer where you purchased them from and explain the issue. They may issue a new gift card or refund your purchase.
