New Outlook email account locked after a few days

Just opened a new outlook email account specifically to play Minecraft a few days ago. And that's all I did with it. Got the message this morning that the account has already been locked. The first method I could find to unfreeze things involved sending a 4-digit security code to another email address. Sounded simple enough. I filled out the applicable fields that came up once I applied the code. And the answer came up that I did not provide enough info. Tried again. Same thing. Nothing in the form said I wasn't giving required info.

Also found the other method where a security code would be sent to a device capable of text messages. One problem... I don't have such a device.

Heck, I don't even know why the account was locked. It says only possible 'suspicious activity.'

So, now what?

Unfortunately, that's the method specifically saying that the phone needs to be able to receive a text message. I do not have a phone that will do this.

No one that wants to risk text spam. Can't say I really blame them.
