    Hi my dog chewed through my one s power chord and i cant find anywhere to buy a replacement! microsoft doesnt appear to make them so do i need a generic one and if so what type is it? thanks for any help!

    Have you tried this? Hard restart your Xbox One. To do this: 1) sign out of your Xbox Live profile, 2) Power off your Xbox One, 3) Disconnect your Ethernet chord and unplug the power supply chord in the back, 4) Wait 30 to 45 seconds, then plug your power
    chord and Ethernet chord, 5) Power your Xbox One on, 6) Sign on to your Xbox Live account, then load the game back up.

    This should fix it.

    The Xbox One X power cable burns really easily.

    I had an issue with my Xbox One X where the power supply short circuited. However I believe I was ultimately responsible for the damage as I kept removing and inserting the chord. So since I got my new one I no longer remove the chord whatsoever.

    I have the original Xbox One, and it loses power when I plug the chord into the xbox, as soon as I do that I hear a tick and the orange light from the power chord turns off.

    I found this it may help you.

    Try plugging your console’s power supply into a different electrical outlet. Do not use a surge protector.

    If the power supply light is red or orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, plug the power supply back into the outlet.
