    hello. I had a xbox one. I upgraded to the one s with 1tb limited minecraft edition. I previously owned minecraft xbox version (disc) and when i opened my account on tge new xbox it was there. I downloaded it but havent' used the full game download card
    that came with the xbox one s. My question Is;

    I don't have split screen local multiplayer and I'm wondering if that is normal or if I need to put in the new one from the download card. Not sure if it makes sence. Thank you In advance for your time.

    I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

    Which Minecraft version do you use? For example, Minecraft 360 Edition in (new) Minecraft is not possible.

    Minecraft xbox edition is not the right minecraft game you want. you need to go on the store and get the other minecraft. the other minecraft is the one that is more up to date and has multiplayer and all this new stuff.
