New March Update Xbox One Screen Time Daily Allowance not enforced

Has anyone else tried the new Daily Allowance available in the new March Update? I was very exited to have these controls and found that the time limits and time frames were enforced but the Daily allowance is not. It gave the warnings about how much time
was left and when the time limit was reached it paused the game and then popped up an option for an adult to extend the time but when my child backed out of the option to extend the time he just resumed the game like nothing had happened. When the time limit
ended (5PM - 9PM) and 9PM was reached then it logged them out and would not allow them to log back in. This works. I think there may need to be some more work on enforcement for the Daily Allowance feature.

DRM IS enforced on Playstation. It checks for updates daily, so if you are playing DRM content that you did not buy, it will not play.

Now is the time for you to unenroll from the preview programme KIRu8 if you feel you are getting too many updates.

The programme is obviously not for you.

Just use the preview dashboard app to unenroll and after the March update goes public you'll be back to one update a month.

The preview for March is very near a public release, that's why I suggested you maybe should decide now.

You're not alone in not realising there are many frequent daily updates in the preview programme.

 

I have just noticed the same or similar problem. I got my son's activity report sent to me today and noticed he was on one day for over 6 hours, and we have it set for no more than 3 hours. So I checked it out, and every time you restart the Xbox it restarts
the timer. Xbox it is important that you get this fixed

 

Is this still a thing? I just set the allowance and time restrictions, and one thing that wasn't really clear to me was whether the two hours I set for him would be allotted in the set time frames (so if he has until 19:00, but only started playing at 18:00
it would still cut him off). But I'd really like to know if the allowance works.
