New logitech gaming headset audio issue

I am using a new logitech gaming headset and I can't separate the headset audio from my TV audio.

I never messed with the audio settings when I had my old turtle beaches and the audio on them work with no problem however that mike doesn't work hence the new headset. One difference is that the TB came with an adapter(?) thing I plugged into my controller USB port that let me change volume and such.

What settings can I change to make the new headset work because I cannot figure it out.
