Hopefully all of our current avatar gear will transfer over. I have a limited edition Slim Jim shirt that I do not want to lose lol.

I think that's the plan. You've got to be able to snap in to it!!

Hopefully the Original avatar items will transfer over to the new Avatar.

However, currently we only have the options to choose which avatar appears on Xbox Live. We can choose to either use the New 'Xbox Avatar' or switch back to the 'Xbox Original Avatar'.

It's quite possible that on public release we'll be able to use one or the other.

I hope so. We were asking the ambassadors team if our ambassador avatar gear will transfer over and at that moment, they weren’t sure.

Our program uses Xbox 360 avatar information. Unfortunately, this means that in order to update your avatar on our webpage, you will have to update your avatar using a Xbox 360 console. While we are looking at updating to using Xbox One information, at the
current time we only use the 360 Avatars. Apologies for the confusion.

I was a bit upset that I couldn't use my old avatar content on the new avatars as well. I'm glad we can still use our old avatars if we want. Personally, I don't really care much about avatars, but it's nice to see an upgrade for those that do care.

Nice! I like the different type of rewards (in-game) as well as avatar awards. Hope we can unlock a complete COG armor for our avatar.
