New keyboard works for one fortnite account but not the other

Currently only Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the title) is playable with keyboard and mouse.

All other games, including Fortnite do NOT work with Keyboard and Mouse on the Xbox One.

If you want to play Fortnite with Keyboard and Mouse, you can do that on a regular Windows PC.

I don't know why but like sudently my keyboard dont work on fortnite it do that when i was switching keyboard but my new mouse work fine on the game menu and in game

There was a Fortnite update today, and my other son tried playing with a keyboard and mouse and magically it worked! Then he quit and shut down the Xbox. After dinner, we tried it again, and the keyboard no longer works for him, just as described above.
The workaround of playing Fortnite using my adult family account still works fine.

I just wanted to document this here, in case others are also pulling their hair out with this particular glitch.

You can only play with keyboard users if they have a keyboard, and if its a game that allow them like fortnite, and others, microsoft do care about this and they dont put you with keyboard user if you dont play with one

I start up fortnite then plug in my keyboard and mouse and only my keyboard works how do i fix this ?

What model of keyboard and mouse are you using?. There is of course a work in progress for both, I highly suggest using a wired Keyboard and mouse only at this current moment on fortnite.
