New installed games wont work

Hello!

In the last two weeks i've been experiencing problems with installing new games in my xone. I believe it started after installing watch dogs from retail disc and after the external drive patch (not sure if these are somehow related to the problems).

The problem is that every new game i install wont work, as follows:

Installed LEGO hobbit and LEGO Marvel demos (neither worked) - just freezes on initial poster screen and goes back to Home. Instaled MAX from games with gold: also didnt work (freezes on poster). Installed titanfall expedition map pack: altough titanfall
kept working, as i already had it installed a long time ago, when i'm on lobby on the countdown to start a match which will use one of the new maps, when it reaches 0, instead of loading the game, it just completely freezes and i have to manually go back
to home screen and close titanfall.

What I tried after the problems:

01. I've done a hard reboot which did not solve the problems.

02. Unistalled and installed the games again. No luck. 03. As instructed by Phone support, cleared persistent storage under config/Disc & bluray and then hard rebooted and reinstalled.the games. Now LEGO hobbit starts but has no sound; MAX shows out like
2 of the welcome videos and then freezes; LEGO Marvel and titanfall map pack had no changes.

So, any ideas on how to fix this? Could this be a faulty hdd?

Installed game wont work

You will have to reinstall the game again (and all your games). Although it is still download onto your HDD, installed games are also linked to the console that they are downloaded on. So, since you got a new console, you'll have to install any games you
like again.

unless you kept the storage memory then I am afraid what vdeathrow93 says is true. If you don't have the old memory storage then you will pretty much have to install everything again.

You may want to attempt a reset to factory default settings before sending it off for repair.

Beware that you lose everything on the hard drive; game saves are backed up to the cloud and easily retrievable later but all games and apps will need to be re-downloaded and re-installed.

 

I concur with Maxen here, you definitely want to try the reset option before you try sending it off. While their exchange options aren't bad, you definitely don't need to wait any longer than you have to, and a reset may be all the system needs.

To restore the system go to Settings -> System -> Restore Factory Defaults.

 

Thanks for the support, guys. I did the reset to factory defaults option. However, no luck

Now none of the downloaded games works (some freezes while loading, some doesnt even start..)

Reinstalled watch dogs from disk but now it doesnt work anymore (freezes on initital poster screen)

Reinstalled titanfall from disk, its the only one working! But its downloaded expedition map pack still doesnt work.

Oh well, going to send it for repair
