New install DLC From ultimate edition disc

Try installing the game from the DLC disc instead of the Game disc. If I remember correctly, that was the way to get the DLC for the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3 and the Ultimate Edition of Fallout New Vegas. You will need to uninstall the games first.

You get the Stone Prisoner free when you buy a new disc based copy.

Unfortunately you do not get it when buying the version from Games on Demand, so you would have to pay another 1200msp if you want it.

If you know anyone who owns the Ultimate Edition of the game though, you will be able to install all the DLC from the bonus disc. Renting the Ultimate Edition, installing the DLC and then returning would also be an option.

You do not need to pay for anything with the Ultimate Edition. All DLC is installable from the second disc.

Which disc are you using to install the content onto your console? You'll want o install from Disc 2 as opposed to Disc 1, if you are using the Ultimate edition of Fallout New Vegas.
