    New high end pc on windows 11 has delays and lags on League of Legends


    I have really struggled with trying to figure out past 8 months why I am getting stuttering and lag when playing League of Legends (looks that things happening and I lose seconds on my screen too) I have gone through a lot of troubleshooting steps and searched lots of forums but none have seen to work. This issue seems to happen mostly when the screen is moving quickly and in fights when I am in game. I even builded a new pc and my pc specs are the above

    • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500f
    • GPU: Saphire Radeon Rx 7800 xt
    • Monitor: Lg ultragear 27 QHD 2560 X 1440 165 hz (with overlock 180)
    • Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle Ax
    • RAM : Kingston fury Beast 32 GB ( 2 x 16) 6000 mhz (xmp enabled)

    Not only that but I upgraded my network connection to starlink from vdsl (no fiber option on my area)

    Steps Tried

    • Removed GPU drivers using DDU.
    • Updated all drivers for all hardware by downloading GPU and Motherboard drivers directly from webpages. Double-checked using DriverEasy to make sure all other drivers were current.
    • Fresh windows install 2 times.
    • Re-installed League of Legends.
    • Turned on FreeSync and turned off FreeSync. As well as other features in Adrenaline.
    • Removed Adrenaline and did drivers only install
    • Set all Bios options to auto and made sure no overclocking was running.
    • Turned of Windows Gaming Mode.
    • Turned on FreeSync and turned off FreeSync. As well as other features in Adrenaline.
    • Removed XMP profile or tried XMP profile 2
    • Ran virus scans.
    • Installed my latest motherboard BIOS version (F32g)

    ***Moved from Windows / Windows 11 / Gaming***

    The latency and lag issues you are experiencing are indeed very frustrating, especially when you have tried so many troubleshooting steps. Based on the system configuration you have provided and the steps you have already tried, the problem looks like it could be due to several underlying factors. Since your system configuration is already very high end and obviously hardware performance should not be an issue, then we can continue troubleshooting in the following directions:



    1. Starlink's satellite network may have higher latency compared to fiber or traditional broadband, especially if the signal is unstable, and may experience packet loss, jitter, or intermittent delays.
    You can test your network latency using the ping command or a network diagnostic tool to see if you have a high ping value. If you are using a wireless connection, it is recommended that you switch to a wired connection to avoid network fluctuations.



    2. You use Task Manager or Ryzen Master to monitor CPU usage during gameplay to see if there is a CPU bottleneck or overload, especially during intense battle scenarios.

    Hello there Miyeon and thanks for your reply

    Unfortunately the league of legend's riot support team couldnt help with my issue.

    As for the steps you mentioned, the starlink right now has no ping issues and no packet loss in my connection. I have checked it both through their application for my router and from the cmd command too...

    As for the task manager its pretty much the same thing, low usages of my cpu gpu and rams on my game.

    If you have anything more to suggest as a possible solution feel free to do it.

    you should contact League of Legends support for help with their game.

    You should always go to the manufacturer of your product for support because they are best able to help you and have access to things that we do not. for example in this case they could have you send them a dump file that their developers would be able to interpret.

    Well said Arkham. I don't think people realize there's more services than just Steam on PC and not to mention DRM free games from websites like GOG. I mean if we want to talk numbers we can look at League of Legends daily and monthly playerbase alone from
    9 months ago and that's just one game.
