    hi all

    im new to xbox live just signed up gold.

    i have xbox 360 but looking soon to get xbox one .

    it tested my internet and says for the 2 availible networks

    wired network - i need to make sure an ethernet cable is connected to both your console and your router or modem (sky) , but all i have is HDMI ends with ethernet

    wireless internet connection - connect an xbox 360 wireless networking adapter to my console. problem is i dnt have a adapter new here but having issues connecting to Xbox live :(

    can anyone help me ?

    It signs me out of xbox live when Modern warfare 3 loads up. But when I go back to dashboard i'm signed in again.

    More than likely you would have to get an ethernet cable or a wireless adapter. I would suggest the Ethernet cable since it is cheaper. You can get one at walmart for under $5.

    Yes, SaintsRow2Lover is correct. In order to play on live or connect at all you will need to buy one or another. The Ethernet is very cheap and easy to connect. I prefer the adapter, personally. You can buy one for about $30-$50 dollars depending on where
    you buy it and if you want a new or used one. They do last very long. I've had my adapter for about 6 years and is has not broke. You may be able to buy a cheap one on Ebay or Amazon.

    BUT, if you are looking to switch to an Xbox One Ethernet will be better for you so that you are not wasting money! You will not need an adapter for the Xbox One because it had an eternal adapter for wireless built in!

    Connection tests fine, no xbox live service

    same issue here i am signed into my profile but not connected to xbox live everytime they get new games they have this issue

    I am having the EXACT same issue!!!

    Internet connection is fine (hence my being able to be on here) yet can't connect to xbox live. WTH?
