    New harddrive installation


    Put a new harddrive in my xbox 360. When turned on the center light turns red, it is on steady, doesn't flash. The light on the power brick is green. Code E68 comes up but the harddrive is new. Any ideas? Thank you.

    Hi Blackbelt,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. In addition to what the ambassador stated, is it an official Xbox 360 Hard drive? Some third party Hard drives will not work in an Xbox 360 unfortunately.

    This Error code lookup E68 has steps that may assist you to resolve your issue.

    You may need to check the drive is correctly seated in the slot.
