    New halo 5 controller not working with two different headsets


    Hi, my new halo 5 controller that I bought yesterday isn't working with two of my turtle beach headset. I had an adapter for my old controller but that broke. In a party it says that it is unable to find a controller when I plug it into the jack but when
    I plug my broken adapter in then plug the headset into that it doesnt say the "unable to find a microphone" thing anymore but I still can't talk because the adapter is broken.

    To be clear, are you experiencing this in two different locations? It sounds like perhaps it's not working at home, but working at a game retailer, is this correct?

    If this is the case, can you possibly try a different wall outlet in your house (preferably in another room) to see if that makes any difference?

    Lastly, were they using a different headset or controller? If so, it's possible the headset/controller in questions is the issue, in which case you'd want to try with a different one.

    Headsets not picking up mic

    I am also having the same issue. For about a month now. I have a tried two headsets on two different controllers and I can hear everyone, but my mic does not working. I bought a new controller with the 3.5mm jack and the issue persists with a different
    headset. Also, my network is fine since I am able to have everything work through the kinect. However, I want to use my headsets.

    I have hard rebooted network equipment and the console several times, logged out and in. Played ith numerous settings and nothing will work.

    Please help.

    I've tried everything, I tried assigning my profile to the controller about 5 times, I tried changing my nat from moderate to open but I can't get it to change, I unplugged my xbox, took the battery out of controller and tried different ones. Can't think
    of anything else

    Okay finally someone else has the issue I am having the exact same problem only difference in situation is halo 5 skull Candy's are my new headset and none of my other headsets (which are two of the basic xb1 headsets) none of the them pick up my voice either

    I have this same problem... headset worked fine on two different controllers, now as of a few weeks ago, the headset isn't recognised as being plugged in, headset works fine on computer or elsewhere - so not head set, both controller used very little and
    new in Dec, so unlikely a problem with both of them.
